Testimonials
M.S. AND L.S. - PARENTS
We wholeheartedly recommend Kenyon Learning and Consulting services and have had an overwhelmingly positive experience. Brian understands the tech, understands how to reach the child no matter age or level, and collaborates with the educational team to ensure the child’s success. Before finding Kenyon Learning, our child was left without services as the NJ state model did not allow services under a certain age, regardless of need. We would absolutely recommend this company to other families. Not only is Brian knowledgeable on the latest tech and how to teach the student and integrate it into the classroom, but he genuinely cares about the student’s success and celebrates along the way.

Assistive technology has revolutionized my visually impaired child's learning journey, offering unprecedented access to educational resources and opportunities and we couldn’t have done it without Kenyon learning and consulting. Brian's learning tools have not only leveled the playing field but also catered to diverse learning styles, fostering independence and confidence. Kenyon learning and consulting ensures that my child's needs are met, promoting seamless integration within mainstream educational settings while also opening doors to experiential learning opportunities that transcend physical barriers.
K.V. - PARENT
Brian began working with my son when he was just 6 years old, conducting independent evaluations within our school district. From their first meeting, Brian was caring, compassionate, and eager to understand all of my son's needs before starting the evaluation, ensuring that he had all the necessary tools and information for an accurate assessment.
My son, who is now in 3rd grade, is deafblind due to Malan syndrome, an extremely rare neuro-developmental disorder affecting ~300 people worldwide. He is a dual media learner who relies on assistive technology throughout his day, both at school and at home.
Brian has continued to support my son over the years, transitioning to providing weekly assistive technology services in January 2023. The rapport they have developed is evident in the knowledge and skills my son has acquired over the past three years. Brian has an incredible understanding of my son's unique multiple disabilities and knows when and how to challenge him appropriately.
At 9, my son can navigate his iPad and successfully use talk-to-text, Voice Dream Suite, Notability, and is an emerging VoiceOver and Focus 40 user. Brian has also trained the school staff to effectively use the iPad to create accessibility for any assignment, lesson, or worksheet.
Brian is an amazing communicator who reaches out with every idea, strategy, or roadblock. He is always willing to brainstorm and think outside the box to address each unique need that arises. Brian's work goes beyond just fulfilling his role; he genuinely cares about making a difference in the lives of the children he works with, and for that, we are forever grateful.
As a parent of a child with an ultra-rare condition that results in multiple disabilities, I cannot recommend Brian enough. His expertise and dedication have been invaluable in navigating the complexities of my son’s need and has made a significant impact on his well being.
G.R. - SCHOOL CASE MANAGER
The district has been consulting with Kenyon Learning and Consulting for assistive technology services for one of our students for over two years now and I have personally worked with him this year. I have nothing but great things to say about Brian. He goes above and beyond for my student. He is always thinking two steps ahead about what ways to support my student in the field of assistive technology and how to support the teacher. A specific example was working with our Benchmark Universe Curriculum. Brian reached out to multiple levels of people to find ways to adapt this curriculum using the iPad and Promethean Board. Also, speaking of the Promethean Board, Brian found ways to meet with my technology department to find ways to use the Promethean Board and iPad to sync together/mirror each other so my visually impaired student could be successful in learning in the classroom. Some very important things needed for service providers to provide are consistency, communication, collaboration, and, following up on what you say you are going to do. Brian does all of those things. He schedules and attends monthly service provider meetings, writes IEPs/keeps data/progress reports, he is in the classroom bi-weekly providing services. The district has been very happy with Kenyon Learning and Consulting and would recommend it to anyone in need of Assistive technology support.
A.G. - SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGIST
Contracting with Kenyon Learning was one of the best decisions our district made this year. What sets Brian apart is his unwavering consistency and reliability. Whether it’s a scheduled session or an urgent request for assistance, he is always available and responsive. This dependability has been reassuring and has fostered a strong sense of trust and confidence in his expertise. I strongly recommend his services to any other school district in need.
